We have always believed in our community, and as a leading law firm we have taken the prerogative to protect the rights of various charitable organisations on pro bono basis. Our schemes are based on our expertise and are focused on: providing access to justice through the court system; giving education through scholarships; and making chharitable donations to support worthy causes. The principal partner Sir (Dr.) James Agbonhese KSJI, obtained his LL.B(Hon) from Bendel state University, Ekpoma, Edo state. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991 by the council of Legal Education, Lagos. He also bagged an LL.M degree in Corporation LAw from Edo state university in 1992. He proceeded to the university of Abuja to obtain a Ph.D in Land Tenure and Land Policy of the Federal Capital Territory. Since his call to the bar he has handelled so many land, contract, employment and other areas of practice for the Fedreral Capital Territory.
He was drafted to set up the Legal unit of the Abuja Geographical Information System and was appointed the first Legal personnel to be made a Deed Registrar of the Land administration Department of the FCT. He has been practicing law in his areas of speciality. As a result of his distinguished legal practice, he was elected to head the Deed Registry of Abuja Geographic Information System AGIS in 2009. James is a great believer in the use of his profession as a platform for service to GOD and humanity. He has handeled several celebrated cases (many of them pro bono) of national intrest and constitutional importance that have hugely impacted on jurisdiction, human rights, constitutional and real estate developmet.
He has been a very active memeber of his professionalassociation, the Nigerian Bar Association. He was a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the NBA in 2014. James has also engaged in a lot of philanthropic activities in the society. He has recieved several awards over the years from within and outside the legal community for service, support, sponsorship and philantropy.
Dr.James Agbonhese was director in the legal services secretariat of the FCTA. He was born on the 23rd of january 1963. He is a past president of the Rotary club of Garki. A double Paul Harris Fellow. He was the worthy president of Knight of St.John International Commandary 472 Garki, Abuja (2014-2017). He is an ardent golfer. He believes in generational shift and promote same. James and hi wife Felicia are blessed with three children James Jnr, Precious and Margaret-mary.
